This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation of the Trufrost and Butler TruBlend 1.8T commercial blender. Always read the full safety instructions before use. Key operational limits include a maximum duty cycle of 5 minutes ON and 2 minutes OFF. Never place the container on the main machine while the motor is running to avoid damaging the clutch.

Product Overview

The blender consists of a main machine base and a container assembly. Key components include the steam lid, cup cover, cup (jar), blades assembly, tamper, transmission gear, and rubber pad (jar holder).

Control Panel

The control panel features the following controls:

• ON/OFF switch: Starts and stops continuous operation.
• Speed control: A dial to adjust blending speed (clockwise to increase, counter-clockwise to decrease).
• Pulse switch: Runs the motor at full speed as long as the button is held down.
• Timer: Allows setting the operation time (10s, 15s, 20s, 25s, or C for continuous).

Operation

1. Ensure the main machine is switched off.
2. Plug the appliance into an earthed electrical socket.
3. Place ingredients into the container and close the lid firmly.
4. Place the container onto the main machine and close the soundproof cover.
5. Press the ON/OFF switch to start.
6. Adjust speed using the speed dial and set the timer if required.
7. To stop, press the ON/OFF switch again.
8. Wait for the motor to come to a complete stop before removing the container.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Important: Never immerse the main machine in water. The container is not dishwasher safe.

Container cleaning procedure:

1. Pour water and a mild detergent into the container.
2. Place the lid on the container and place it on the main machine.
3. Run the machine at full speed for 10-20 seconds.
4. Switch off, remove the container, rinse thoroughly with clean water, and dry.
5. Store the container upside down.

Clean the outside of the main machine with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive materials, sharp objects, petrol, or solvents.
