Product Overview

The doorbell features a main camera, sub-camera with illuminators, microphone, speaker, doorbell button, and a reset button. A disassembly clip is located on the device for removal from the bracket using the provided detaching pin.

Installation

Preparation: Install the doorbell on a wall near the main gate, ideally close to the router to ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal. Recommended installation height is 1.2m from the center of the drill template to the ground.

Mounting Steps:

  • Choose the appropriate bracket (flat or inclined) based on the desired viewing angle.
  • Use the drill template to mark and drill two holes (depth at least 25mm, diameter 6mm to 6.5mm).
  • Insert expansion tubes and secure the bracket to the wall using the provided screws.
  • Align the doorbell with the bracket and press until it clicks into place.

Wiring and Power Kit

Power Requirements: The device requires 12V AC to 24V AC power.

Mechanical Chime: If using a mechanical chime, the included Power Kit is required. Connect the Power Kit connection cables to the TRANS and FRONT terminals inside the mechanical chime, then place the Power Kit inside the chime housing.

Wiring: Connect the doorbell power cables to the external power source. For mechanical chimes, connect the U-shaped connectors to the doorbell terminal screws.

Network Configuration and Pairing

Initial Setup: Download the Guard Live app. Upon first startup, the doorbell automatically enters network configuration mode. If needed, press and hold the doorbell button for 2 seconds to trigger configuration.

Pairing: Use the app to scan the activation code on the back of the doorbell or the guide cover. To pair with a chime, navigate to Chime Settings > Add Chime in the app.
