Waterproof Requirements
Proper waterproofing is critical to prevent device damage. Follow these steps:
- Connect all necessary cables and cut off unused copper wires.
- Use insulation tape to insulate the connection part of each cable.
- Apply self-adhesive waterproof tape: fully stretch the tape at both ends, wrap the connection part and cable ends tightly, and tighten the tape at both ends.
- Install the supplied waterproof components to the network cable in sequence.
- Caution: Mount the rubber ring onto the network cable interface first.
- Optionally, place cables into a waterproof junction box.

Mounting the Camera

Micro SD Card Installation
- Use a screwdriver to remove the two screws on the card cover.
- Remove the cover and insert the Micro SD card into the slot.
- Replace the cover and tighten the screws. Ensure the sealing ring is in position.
- Format the Micro SD card via the camera's web interface before use.
Wall Mount
- Locate hole positions and drill holes on the wall.
- Hammer expansion bolts into the holes and ensure they are tightened.
- Lead cables out from the bottom of the bracket and fix the bracket to the wall using four ST3.5 self-tapping screws.
- Align the camera gear with the bracket gear, keep the camera upright, and tighten the M4 screw.
- Connect all cables and apply waterproof measures.
Startup and App Configuration
Connect the power adapter to the mains and the device. To add the camera to the Guard Live app:
- Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Download and install the Guard Live app.
- Sign up for an account and log in.
- Open the app, tap the plus icon or Add Device, and scan the registration QR code.
- Follow the in-app instructions to complete the Wi-Fi connection.
- If registration fails, press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds within 10 minutes of powering on the device.
Web Interface Access
You can access the camera via a web browser:
- Default IP address: 192.168.1.13
- Default username: admin
- Default password: 123456
- Security Note: Change the default password immediately after the first login. Use a strong password of at least nine characters, including digits, letters, and special characters.
- You may need to install a plug-in upon the first login.
