This portable utility pump is designed exclusively for 110-120V, 60Hz power sources. Before operating, ensure you have a standard garden hose and PTFE (plumber's) tape. The pump requires lubrication before its first use and must be properly grounded to prevent electrical shock. Always ensure the pump is placed in a safe, dry area and is not submerged during operation.

Safety Instructions
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, follow these precautions:
- Read all instructions before use.
- Close supervision is recommended during operation.
- Do not insert fingers or hands into the inlet or outlet while the pump is running.
- Always unplug the power before moving the pump.
- Ensure the pump is properly grounded according to electrical connection instructions.
- Do not allow the pump, cord, or outlet to come into contact with water.
Installation and Connections

Hose Connections
Connect a standard garden hose to both the inlet and outlet ports. If using a hose other than the provided inlet hose, ensure it is less than 25 feet long and positioned less than 10 feet above the water source. Keep hoses as straight as possible to maximize efficiency.
Electrical Connections
The pump must be connected to a 120V, 60Hz AC outlet. Use a three-prong grounded plug. Ensure the outlet is properly installed and grounded in accordance with local codes.
Operating Instructions
Pump Preparation
Before operating, the pump must be lubricated. Pour 1/2 tablespoon of food-grade vegetable oil into the inlet to lubricate the impeller.
Operation
- Ensure inlet and outlet hoses are firmly attached.
- Verify the pump is in a safe, dry area.
- Submerge the inlet hose in the water source.
- Ensure the outlet hose is positioned correctly.
- Plug the pump into a grounded 120V, 60Hz outlet.
- The pump is self-priming; water should begin to flow within 30 seconds.
- Unplug the pump immediately after use.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
If the pump fails to start, check the power connection. If the pump is running but no water is flowing, ensure the pump is oiled, the inlet hose is not too long, and there are no kinks in the hoses. If the pump stops, check for water supply issues or thermal overload; unplug and allow it to cool. If the pump leaks, check for missing O-rings on the hoses.
