Quick Guide

Before using the kettle for the first time, please boil water and empty the kettle three times to ensure cleanliness. Always use the kettle with the provided base and ensure it is placed on a stable, flat surface. Do not immerse the kettle or base in water.

Product Overview

The Xiaomi Electric Kettle 2 Lite consists of the following main components:

• Lid: Top cover with a release button.
• Spout: For pouring water.
• Handle: Ergonomic grip for safe handling.
• On/Off Button: Located at the bottom, used to start the heating process.
• Heating Indicator: Lights up when the kettle is heating.
• Base: Power base with a cord and plug.

Inside the kettle, you will find water level markings indicating the MIN (0.5 L) and MAX (1.5 L) levels.

How to Use

1. Press the lid release button to open the lid.
2. Manually open the lid further to 65° and add water. Ensure the water level is between the MIN and MAX marks.
3. Close the lid fully and place the kettle body onto the base.
4. Press the on/off button. The heating indicator will turn on.
5. Once the water boils, the indicator will turn off, and the kettle will stop heating automatically.

Warning: Do not open the lid while the water is boiling.

Cleaning & Maintenance

1. Unplug the kettle and let it cool down completely before cleaning.
2. To remove limescale, add 0.5 L of food-grade white vinegar and let it soak for at least 1 hour.
3. Pour out the vinegar and wipe away any sediment with a damp cloth.
4. Add water up to the MAX mark, boil it, and pour it out. Rinse the kettle with clean water 4-5 times.
5. Clean the exterior with a dry cloth and store in a dry, well-ventilated area.

Do not use steel wool or abrasive cleaning agents.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, check the following:

• Heating indicator does not light up: Ensure the power plug is properly connected, the outlet is working, or the base is the original one provided with the kettle.
• Boiled water overflows: Ensure you have not exceeded the maximum water level mark.
• Kettle does not heat: Check if the on/off button is pressed or stuck. If the issue persists, contact after-sales service.
• Water does not boil or not stop boiling: Ensure the lid is closed securely and the water level is above the minimum mark.
