Quick Start Guide

To begin using your air conditioner, follow these steps:

1. Fit Batteries: Insert two R03/LR03 batteries into the remote control.
2. Select Mode: Press the Mode button to cycle through Auto, Cool, Dry, Heat, and Fan modes.
3. Select Temperature: Use the Up/Down arrows to set your desired temperature.
4. Select Fan Speed: Press the Fan button to adjust the airflow speed.
5. Point and Power: Point the remote toward the indoor unit and press the Power button.

Handling the Remote Controller

For optimal performance, ensure the remote is used within 8 meters of the unit. The unit will beep when a signal is received. Keep the remote away from direct sunlight and obstacles like curtains that may block the infrared signal. Remove batteries if the remote will not be used for more than 2 months.

Buttons and Functions

The remote control features various buttons to manage your climate:

• ON/OFF: Turns the unit on or off.
• MODE: Cycles through operation modes (Auto, Cool, Dry, Heat, Fan).
• TEMP: Increases or decreases temperature in 1°C/1°F increments.
• FAN SPEED: Adjusts fan speed (Auto, Low, Med, High). Holding for 2 seconds activates Silence feature.
• SWING: Controls horizontal louver movement. Hold for 2 seconds for vertical louver auto swing.
• SET: Scrolls through advanced functions like Fresh/UV-C, Follow Me, and AP mode.
• TIMER: Sets the timer to turn the unit on or off.
• TURBO: Enables the unit to reach the preset temperature in the shortest possible time.
• CLEAN: Starts or stops the Self Clean function.
• LED: Turns the indoor unit's LED display and buzzer on or off.
• SHORTCUT: Restores current settings or resumes previous settings.

Operating Modes

The air conditioner supports several modes:

• AUTO: The unit automatically selects Cool, Fan, or Heat based on the set temperature.
• COOL: Standard cooling operation.
• DRY: Dehumidifying mode. Fan speed cannot be changed in this mode.
• HEAT: Heating operation. Note that performance may be affected by low outdoor temperatures.
• FAN: Circulates air without heating or cooling. Temperature cannot be set in this mode.

Advanced Functions

• Timer: Use the Timer button to set the amount of time after which the unit will automatically turn on or off.
• ECO: Enters energy-efficient mode (only available in Cool mode).
• FP (Freeze Protection): Operates at high fan speed with temperature set to 8°C/46°F (Heat pump models only).
• Lock: Press Clean and Turbo buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds to lock the remote.
• Follow Me: The remote measures the temperature at its current location and sends the signal to the unit every 3 minutes.
• AP Mode: Used for wireless network configuration.

Remote Screen Indicators

The LCD screen displays the current status, including active mode (Auto, Cool, Dry, Heat, Fan), fan speed, set temperature, timer settings, and active features like Sleep, ECO, or Lock. If the low battery icon flashes, replace the batteries.
