The ADJ Entour Snow is a 1250W professional snow machine designed for indoor use. Before operating, ensure the unit is placed on a flat, dry surface and that the voltage matches your local power source. Always use water-based snow juice; using other liquids will cause severe damage. The unit features both manual and timer operation modes, as well as DMX-512 control.

Safety Precautions

• Indoor use only: Outdoor use voids all warranties.
• Ventilation: Keep the unit at least 6 inches (15cm) away from walls to ensure proper airflow.
• Power: Never connect to a dimmer pack. Disconnect from power when not in use.
• Handling: Never point the machine directly at people or their clothing.
• Maintenance: Do not remove the top cover; there are no user-serviceable parts inside.

Device Overview

The unit features a hanging bracket compatible with tripod mounting, a 5.6-liter anti-spill fluid tank, and a snow nozzle with a cloth filter. The control panel includes an LCD display, Menu, Up, Down, Manual On/Off, and Timer On/Off buttons. Rear connections include 3-pin and 5-pin DMX input/output, power input, and a power switch.

Setup and Operation

Initial Setup: Remove all packing material, especially around the snow outlet. Fill the reservoir with ADJ brand snow fluid, insert the feeder tube with the filter, and tighten the cap.

Manual Operation: Press the MENU button to scroll to snow output and wind settings. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to adjust values. Press the MANUAL ON/OFF button to start or stop the snow output.

Timer Operation: Note that this mode is not compatible with DMX controllers. Use the MENU button to set snow output, wind, interval (pause between snow), and duration (length of snow). Press the TIMER button to activate or deactivate the timer function.

DMX Configuration

The Entour Snow supports 1, 3, and 5-channel DMX modes. To configure, press the MENU button until "DMX ADDR" appears to set the address, then navigate to "DMX MODE" to select the channel mode.

DMX Traits:

• 1CH: Output Volume (0-249: 0-100%, 250-255: Auto Random).
• 3CH: Output Volume, Fan Speed (0-124: 50%, 125-249: 100%, 250-255: Auto), Snow On/Off.
• 5CH: Includes all 3CH functions plus Duration (0-255s) and Interval (0-255s).

Maintenance

Keep the fluid clean and free of debris. If the nozzle becomes clogged, contact ADJ customer service. Periodically clean the magnetic air filter by removing the fluid tank, lifting the tank holder, and removing the filter from the inner air inlet grill. Dry the filter before re-installation. To clean the nozzle cloth and spring, carefully snip the zip tie, clean the parts, and reinstall securely with a new zip tie.
