This document provides instructions for the installation and operation of the Allen + Roth 2-Inch Cordless Faux Wood Blind. Before beginning, ensure all parts are present and you have the necessary tools. The estimated assembly time is 30 minutes.
Tools Required
- Pencil
- Drill with 3/32 in. bit
- Safety goggles
- Phillips screwdriver
- Tape measure
- Level
- Step stool (helpful)
Assembly Instructions
1. Preparation: Mark the center of the window opening and the center of the blind (A) with a pencil.




2. Mounting: Slide mounting brackets (AA) onto the headrail. Position the blind in the window (inside or outside mount) and mark the bracket positions. Remove the blind, drill pilot holes if necessary, and attach the brackets using large screws (EE).
3. Center Bracket: If the blind is 29 inches or wider, install the center bracket (DD) using large screws (EE).
4. Wand Installation: Grip and pull the wand tilter on the left side of the headrail, then hook the wand (C) into the tilter.
5. Finishing Touches: Attach end caps (GG) to the bottom rail. Optionally, attach valance clips (FF) and the valance (B), and install hold-down brackets (BB) if desired.
Operating Instructions
Raising/Lowering: Grip the bottom rail and lift or lower it to the desired height.
Tilting: Turn the wand (C) to open or close the slats.
Care and Maintenance
Clean the blinds using a damp cloth, a vacuum with proper attachments, or a duster.
