Tools required

• Phillips screwdriver
• Level
• Variable speed drill with #2 Phillips bit
• Pencil
• 5/16 inch drill bit
• Stud finder (helpful tool)

Safety and installation requirements

For proper installation and to ensure weight capacity, it is recommended to install the shelf system into wood studs. Failure to install in wood studs will significantly affect weight loading stability. The maximum weight capacity for this shelf is 17 lbs (7.71 kg).

Installation steps

1. Leveling: Use a level to position the mounting backplate (B) correctly on the wall.
2. Drilling: Mark the holes and drill into the wall at the marked locations.
3. Mounting: Insert anchors (BB) into the holes and secure the mounting backplate (B) to the wall using screws (AA).
4. Attaching: Place the shelf (A) onto the backplate (B) and secure it using screws (CC) and caps (DD).

Care and maintenance

Periodically check that all components are properly positioned, free from damage, and firmly connected. Use a soft, dry, clean cloth for dusting. Never use water to clean the furniture as it may damage the finish.

Troubleshooting

If the shelf is tilting, the mounting backplate is likely not installed at the same level. Use a quality level to ensure the backplate is perfectly level.
