The Amazon Basics Boost Guitar Effect Pedal is designed to modify the sound and volume of electric guitars and bass guitars. Please note that a 9V power supply is required but not provided with the product. Always connect your instrument and amplifier before switching the pedal on, and ensure the DRIVE knob is set to 0 before activation to prevent sudden volume spikes.

Safety Instructions

• Do not use the product near water, such as bathtubs, sinks, or in wet basements.
• Avoid using the product near heat sources like radiators or stoves.
• High volume levels, especially when used with amplifiers and headphones, can cause permanent hearing loss. Avoid prolonged use at uncomfortable volume levels.

Before First Use

• Inspect the product for any transport damage.
• Remove all packaging materials.

Connecting to Power Supply

1. Connect the 9V adapter (not provided) to the power socket on the pedal.
2. Connect the adapter to a suitable electrical outlet.

Switching On/Off

1. Connect the pedal to your instrument and amplifier before switching it on.
2. Set the volume controls on your instrument and amplifier to the desired level.
3. Set the DRIVE knob on the pedal to 0.
4. Press the On/Off switch to activate or deactivate the pedal. The indicator light will change accordingly.
5. Slowly raise the volume to the desired level.

Adjusting Sound

• BASS knob: Sets the amplification level of low frequencies in the signal.
• DRIVE knob: Sets the volume level of the signal.
• TREBLE knob: Sets the amplification level of high frequencies in the signal.

Cleaning and Storage

• Unplug the product before cleaning.
• Wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not immerse the product in water or use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, or abrasive scourers.
• Store in the original packaging in a dry area, away from children and pets.
