The Amaran 200d is a high-performance LED photography light. Before using the device, ensure you remove the protective cover from the COB LED. The light is designed for professional photography and is compatible with Bowens Mount accessories. Always operate the light in a well-ventilated area and avoid touching the LED surface.
Product Overview
The Amaran 200d consists of the lamp head, which features a Bowens Mount, COB LED, OLED display, and control knobs. The package includes the lamp head, 55° hyper-reflector, protection cover, power cable, and steel wire rope.
Installation
- Protection Cover: Always remove the protective cover before powering on the light. Re-install it when packing the light away.
- Reflector: To install the 55° reflector, push the lever handle in the direction of the arrow, rotate the reflector into the mount, and release. Reverse the process to remove it.
- Tripod Setup: Adjust the lamp body to the desired height, rotate the tie-down to secure it to the tripod, adjust the angle, and tighten the lock handle.
- Soft Light Umbrella: Insert the umbrella handle into the designated hole on the light body and tighten the lock knob.
Operations
Manual Control: Use the power button to turn the light on and off. Rotate the INT adjusting knob to change brightness in 1% increments (0-100%). Click the INT knob to quickly cycle through brightness levels: 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%.
Wireless Control
The light can be controlled wirelessly via the Sidus Link app. To connect, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device. The app allows control of brightness, frequency, and 8 built-in lighting effects (paparazzi, fireworks, faulty bulb, lightning, TV, pulse, flash, and fire).
Bluetooth Reset
If you need to reset the Bluetooth connection, long-press the Bluetooth Reset button. The LCD will display "BT Reset" and the icon will flash. Once successful, the LCD will display "Success" for 2 seconds. If the reset fails, "Failure" will appear on the display.

Bluetooth connection failure
Long press the Bluetooth Reset button. If the LCD displays 'Failure', the reset was unsuccessful; try again.
