Installation and Clearance
Proper ventilation is essential for safe operation. Maintain the following clearances:
- Front Discharge Operation: Minimum 3" clearance along sides and rear; 12" in front.
- Rear Discharge Operation: Minimum 3" clearance along sides; 12" in front and rear.
- General: Do not place under shelving or closer than 12" from the ceiling.
Discharge Assembly
The unit can be configured for front or rear discharge:
- Front Discharge: Pull the metal plate up to the closed position and latch. Slide the longer chute underneath the toaster and rest it on the interior ledge.
- Rear Discharge: Push the metal plate down to the open position. Loosen the two rear screws, slide the smaller chute's keyholes behind the screws, and tighten to secure.
Operation Instructions
Controls vary by model:
- Speed/Color Control: Determines the time the product spends in the heating chamber. Slower speed results in darker toast.
- Heat Control (184T140): Features OFF, STANDBY (25% power), BREAD (full power), and BUNS (top element only).

Cleaning and Maintenance
Caution: Do not immerse the appliance in water. Use only a damp cloth or sponge with soapy water. Do not use steel wool.
- Exterior & Crumb Tray: Unplug the unit and let it cool. Pull the crumb tray forward to empty and clean.
- Conveyor Belt: Turn the unit on to Standby mode and set to slow speed. Use an abrasive pad in a back-and-forth motion to remove baked-on product, then wipe with a damp cloth.
