This document provides essential operating and safety instructions for the Batavia FIXXPACK 12V Battery (Model BT-CLB007). Always charge the battery before first use and ensure the ambient temperature is between 10°C and 40°C. Never attempt to open the battery, expose it to water, or short-circuit the contacts.

The system consists of the following components:

• 1: Battery

Safety Instructions

Improper use of batteries can lead to fire, explosion, or injury. Follow these critical safety rules:

• Never attempt to open the battery for any reason.
• Do not expose the battery to water, extreme heat, or cold.
• Do not store the battery in locations where the temperature exceeds 40°C.
• Do not charge damaged batteries.
• Avoid dropping the battery or subjecting it to mechanical stress.
• If battery fluid leaks, wipe it off with a cloth and avoid skin contact. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.

Operation

Removing the battery

Push the battery release button (2) and pull the battery (1) out of the machine.

Inserting the battery

Ensure the exterior of the battery is clean and dry. Insert the battery (1) into the machine and push it forward until it clicks into place.

Charging the Battery

Follow these steps to charge your battery safely:

1. Plug the charger (3) into an electrical outlet. The green LED (4) will light up.
2. Slide the battery (1) onto the charger (3).
3. The red LED (5) will illuminate to indicate charging has commenced.
4. When the battery is fully charged, the green LED (4) will illuminate.

Important: Remove the battery from the charger once charging is complete to maximize battery life. Do not leave batteries on charge for extended periods.

Maintenance and Storage

• Let a hot battery cool down before charging.
• After charging, allow 15 minutes for the battery to cool before use.
• Do not store Lithium-Ion batteries in a discharged state for long periods. Store them in a high charge state, disconnected from the tool.
• Battery capacity naturally reduces over time; this is normal and not a fault.
