This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient use of Batavia Maxxpack 18V batteries. Always charge the battery before its first use and after each use to ensure optimal performance. The battery should be charged at ambient temperatures between 10°C and 40°C.

Safety Instructions

Warning: Improper battery use may result in fire, explosion, or other hazards. Battery fluid can cause personal injury or property damage; in case of contact, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.

• Never attempt to open the battery.
• Do not expose the battery to water, heat, or moisture.
• Do not store in locations where the temperature may exceed 40°C.
• Keep batteries away from children.
• Use only the charger provided with the appliance/tool.
• Do not charge damaged batteries.
• Do not short-circuit the battery or store it with metal parts.

Operation

Removing the battery: Push the battery release button (2) and pull the battery (1) out of the machine.

Inserting the battery: Ensure the exterior of the battery is clean and dry. Insert the battery (1) into the machine and push forward until it clicks into place.

Charging the battery:

1. Plug the charger into an electrical outlet. The red LED (5) will light up.
2. Slide the battery (1) onto the charger (4).
3. The red LED (5) will illuminate and the green LED (6) will flash during charging.
4. When fully charged, the green LED (6) will remain illuminated.

Battery Charge Level

The battery features a built-in charge indicator. Press the button (3) to check the charge level. The right LED indicates a high charge level, while the left LED indicates a low charge level, signaling that the battery requires charging soon.

Maintenance and Storage

• Let a hot battery cool down before charging.
• Allow 15 minutes for the battery to cool after charging before use.
• Do not leave batteries on charge for extended periods.
• For long-term storage, store batteries in a high charge state, disconnected from the power tool.
• Battery capacity naturally reduces over time; this is normal and not a fault.

Technical Data

All models (7062517, 7062518, 7063735) operate at a rated voltage of 18V. Capacities are 2.0 Ah, 4.0 Ah, and 5.0 Ah respectively.

Disposal

Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of in domestic waste. As a consumer, you are legally obliged to dispose of batteries at a designated collection point in your community or retail outlet.
