The Bauer 2144C-B is a 20V cordless chemical fogger intended for water-based solutions. Before use, ensure the battery is charged and the unit is inspected for damage. Always wear ANSI-approved safety goggles and gloves. After every use, the unit must be cleaned by flushing the tank with clean water to prevent clogging and damage.
Safety instructions
Battery Safety: Keep the battery pack dry. Do not open, drop, short-circuit, puncture, incinerate, or expose to temperatures above 140°F. Inspect the battery before every use.
General Safety: Use only for water or water-based fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and sealers. Do not use for combustible or corrosive chemicals. Do not use in the rain or in wet locations. Keep children and visitors away from the work area.
Setup
Charging: Charge the battery pack according to the charger's instructions before first use.
Shoulder Strap: Attach the clips on both ends of the shoulder strap to the front and rear of the fogger. Adjust the length using the buckle and position the cushion for comfort.
Operation
Filling the Tank: Remove the battery pack before filling. Remove the cap and place a funnel in the neck of the tank. Fill with the desired chemical/water solution. Do not overfill beyond the max fill line. Replace the cap securely and reinstall the battery.
Fogging: Slide the On/Off switch to ON. Point the nozzle at the target area and depress the trigger. Hold the fogger level; tilting may cause liquid to spurt instead of fog. Use the flow control knob to adjust the output. Always point the fogger downwind.
Maintenance and cleaning
After Every Use: Drain the tank contents into a suitable container. Fill the tank one-third full with clean water, install the battery, and run the fogger until the tank is empty. Repeat if necessary. Allow the tool to air-dry with the tank open before storing.
Troubleshooting
If the tool will not start, check the battery connection and charge. If the spray is weak, clean the filter or check if the solution is too thick. If the tool spurts liquid, ensure you are holding the fogger level.
