Quick Guide from the Manual
The BEGA 24087 is a wall luminaire designed for interior and exterior use, featuring shielded light with a 2x90° emission. It is IP65 rated (dust-tight and protected against water jets) and IK06 impact resistant. Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician. A critical step during installation is the placement of the included desiccant pouch inside the housing to prevent moisture accumulation.

Product Description
The luminaire is constructed from aluminium alloy, aluminium, and stainless steel with BEGA Unidure® coating technology. It features a safety glass cover and an optical silicone lens. The unit is DALI-controllable and includes BEGA Thermal Control® for temporary thermal regulation to protect sensitive components.
Installation
Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with national safety regulations.
- Preparation: Use a 3mm hexagon socket wrench to undo the screw through the opening in the luminaire housing and lift the top part.
- Mounting: Lead the mains supply cable through the cable entry in the luminaire base. Fix the base to the mounting surface using the two enclosed screws diagonally.
- Wiring: Make the earth conductor connection and the electrical connection. For digital control, use the DA, DA terminal. If this terminal is not used, the luminaire operates at full light output.
- Finalizing: Insert the desiccant pouch (removed from foil packaging) into the position marked by the red label. Push the plug into the coupler until it stops. Ensure the gasket is positioned correctly, then install the luminaire top and tighten the screw.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Clean the luminaire regularly using solvent-free cleaners to remove dirt and deposits. Do not use high-pressure cleaners. Important: Do not remove the desiccant bag from the luminaire housing, as it is required to absorb residual moisture.
LED Module Replacement
The LED module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools. Ensure the system is disconnected from power before opening. The light colour and output of replacement modules correspond to the original. Always inspect and, if necessary, replace the luminaire gaskets when replacing the module. A defective glass cover must be replaced.
