Product Description
This luminaire is designed for interior lighting tasks requiring soft and uniform light distribution. It features an insulation housing with a cable entry for mains supply cables up to 10.5 mm in diameter. The unit includes a BEGA Thermal Switch to protect temperature-sensitive components via temporary thermal shutdown.
Installation
Preparation: Ensure the mounting surface is suitable for the luminaire's weight of 2.1 kg. Drill mounting holes with a spacing of 460 mm.
Electrical Connection:
- Open the insulation housing by pulling it apart.
- Strip the mains supply cable to a maximum of 15 mm.
- Lead the cable through the entry into the insulation housing.
- Make the earth conductor connection and the electrical connection.
- Connect both parts of the insulation housing until they audibly engage.
- Ensure the outer coating of the cable is fully enclosed by the compression nipple.
Final Assembly: Fix the luminaire to the mounting surface using the provided or suitable fixing material. Place the glass into the housing, close with the cap, and screw in the knob.
Maintenance and LED Replacement
The LED module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools. To replace the module:
- Disconnect the system from the power supply.
- Loosen the lateral knob, remove the cap, and take out the glass.

If the glass is defective, it must be replaced. Do not touch the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping.
