Safety Warnings

  • Adult supervision is required at all times.
  • Do not use on public roads, hills, slopes, or near steep inclines, steps, swimming pools, or bodies of water.
  • Always wear shoes while using the product.
  • Do not turn sharply at high speeds to prevent tipping.
  • Keep loose clothing, scarves, and shoelaces away from moving parts.
  • Do not ride under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication.
  • In the U.S., a CPSC Standard 16 CFR 1203 approved helmet is recommended; in Europe, a CE-certified helmet is recommended.

Operating Instructions

  • Before Use: Adjust the seat to the user's size, check that steering, brakes, and tires are functioning correctly, and ensure all bolts are fixed.
  • During Use: Ride at a controlled speed. Always use the back-pedal brake. When parking, turn the steering wheel to the right or left to prevent the go-kart from rolling away.
  • Trailers: If using a trailer, remember that braking distance increases. Do not attach trailers on steep slopes.

Maintenance and Adjustments

Regular maintenance is required to keep the go-kart safe and functional.

Chain Tensioning

The go-kart has two chains. If a chain is too tight, pedaling becomes difficult and wear increases. If too loose, it may fall off.

  • Rear Chain: Remove the protective hood, loosen hub nuts, move the hub forward, and tighten. The chain should have 6mm of play in the middle.
  • Front Chain: Loosen crank axle bolts, move the axle forward, and tighten. The chain should have 10mm of play in the middle.

Crank Adjustment

After the first few days of intensive use or two weeks of normal use, tighten the crank mounting bolts. Use a maximum torque of 30 Nm. Failure to do this can cause play and damage the crank and axle.

Warranty

The frame and non-wear parts have a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase. Wear parts (chains, tires) are excluded. Warranty claims require the original purchase receipt and the product serial number found on the frame.
