This manual provides essential instructions for the assembly, safe operation, and maintenance of your BERG Rally NRG Orange go-kart. Please read all safety warnings carefully before use. The go-kart is designed for children under 12 years of age and requires adult supervision.

Assembly

The go-kart requires assembly by an adult. Refer to the parts list on page 3 to identify all components. Follow the step-by-step assembly diagrams provided on pages 4 through 13 to construct the frame, steering, wheels, and seat. Ensure all bolts and nuts are securely tightened during assembly.

Safety warnings

• Adult supervision is required at all times.
• Do not use the product on public roads.
• Avoid sharp turns at high speeds to prevent the go-kart from tipping over.
• Keep loose clothing, such as scarves and shoelaces, away from moving parts.
• Do not ride under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication.
• Maximum user weight is 60 kg.

User guidelines

Before use

• Adjust the seat and steering wheel to the user's size.
• Verify that steering, brakes, and tires are functioning correctly.
• Ensure all bolts and nuts are tightened.
• Check tire pressure; correct pressure is indicated on the tire.

During use

• Ride at a controlled speed.
• Always pay attention to the environment.
• Use the handbrake or back-pedal brake to stop.
• Ride on smooth surfaces without obstacles.
• Do not place objects on or against the steering wheel.

Trailer

If a trailer is attached, remember that braking distance will increase. Do not attach trailers on steep slopes. No passengers are allowed in the trailer.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance is required to ensure the longevity and safety of the go-kart.

Maintenance scheme

• Daily: Check tires for wear and pressure.
• Monthly: Clean and check all nuts and bolts; check frame for cracks; lubricate moving parts; check chain tension.
• Half-Yearly: Check functioning of bearings, chain, hub, sprockets, and axles.
• Yearly: Clean plastic parts and check for damage.

Chain tensioning

The go-kart has two chains. If a chain is too tight, pedaling becomes difficult; if too loose, it may come off. Always tension the rear chain first.

Crank adjustment

After the first few days of intensive use or two weeks of normal use, tighten the crank mounting bolts to a maximum of 30 Nm to prevent play and damage.

Warranty

The frame and other parts have a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. Wear-and-tear parts like chains and tires are excluded. Warranty claims require the original purchase receipt and the serial number found on the frame.
