Assembly
The product requires assembly by an adult. Follow the numbered steps provided in the manual (pages 4-8). Ensure all bolts and nuts are securely tightened. Verify that the steering, driving mechanism, and tires function correctly before use.
User guidelines
- Before use: Adjust the seat to the user's size and ensure all mechanical parts are secure.
- During use: Ride at a controlled speed. Avoid hills or slopes as they increase the risk of tipping and extend braking distance.
- Parking: Turn the steering wheel to the far left or right to prevent the kart from rolling away.
- Trailer: If using a trailer, be aware of increased braking distance. Do not attach trailers on steep slopes. No passengers are allowed in the trailer.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is required to ensure safety and longevity.
- Daily: Check wheels and tires for wear.
- Monthly: Clean and check all nuts and bolts; check the frame for cracks; check chain tension and grease the chain; lubricate moving steering parts.
- Half-yearly: Check the functioning of bearings, chain, hub, sprockets, and axles.
- Yearly: Clean plastic parts and check for damage.
To tension the rear chain: remove the plastic chain guard, loosen the four bottom bolts near the front sprocket, move the pedal axle forward to tension, and ensure the chain can be pushed 6 mm downwards. Tighten bolts and re-mount the guard.
Warranty
The frame has a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. Other parts also have a 2-year warranty, excluding wear-and-tear items like chains and tires. Warranty claims require the original purchase receipt and the product serial number found on the frame.
