The GSR 1440-LI and 1800-LI are cordless drill/drivers designed for driving and loosening screws, as well as drilling in wood, metal, ceramic, and plastic.
Operation
The tool features a two-speed mechanical gear selector and adjustable torque settings. Always ensure the tool is switched off before placing it on a screw to prevent slipping.
- Removing/Inserting Battery: Use the designated buttons to release and secure the battery pack.
- Mounting Tools: Open the chuck, insert the bit, and tighten securely.
- Direction of Rotation: Use the rotational direction switch to select forward or reverse. Set to the center position for storage or maintenance.
- Torque Selection: Adjust the torque ring to the desired setting for consistent driving.
- Gear Selection: Use the mechanical gear switch to select between low and high speeds. Only operate when the tool is at a complete stop.
Maintenance and Cleaning

Safety Warnings

Common problems
Tool jams during operation
Switch off the tool immediately. Check for overload or if the tool is wedged in the workpiece.
Gear selector does not move to the stop
Briefly press the On/Off switch to allow the gears to align, then try moving the selector again.
Battery does not charge
Ensure the battery temperature is between 0°C and 45°C. Check the charger instructions.
