Quick Guide
The POWER BOX MAX PB-02 is a 12V jump starter designed for gas and diesel engines. It is essential to charge the device fully before its first use and after every use. Ensure the device is at least 80% charged before attempting to jump-start a vehicle. This device is intended for use with lead-acid batteries only and is not recommended for lithium batteries.
Product Layout
The device features an LED display, LED flashlight, and several ports for power and charging: USB1 (5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A), USB2 (5V/2.4A), DC 12-16V/10A output, and a USB-C input/output port (up to 20V/3A). Controls include the Power button, Engine Start button, LED Light button, and Engine Force Start button.

Jump Starting Procedure
- Connect the jumper cable to the jump starter connector.
- Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal.
- Connect the black clamp to the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Press the Power button, then press the Start button.
- Wait for the screen to display READY in solid green.
- Start the vehicle engine.
- Disconnect the start cable from the device and remove the clamps from the battery terminals within 30 seconds. Leave the vehicle running.
Force Start Function
If the vehicle battery is below 2V, press and hold the Engine Force Start button for 5 seconds until the screen displays READY in solid green. Use this function only if standard starting fails. Do not short-circuit the clamps.
Indicator Lights
The READY indicator provides status updates: Green and red flashing indicates standby mode. Solid green indicates the device is ready to jump-start. Solid red with beeping indicates a reverse connection or protection mode.
Troubleshooting
If the device does not turn on, the internal voltage may be too low; connect the wall charger to recharge. If H8 appears on the screen, the device has triggered high-temperature protection; wait for it to cool down. If H0 appears, it has triggered low-temperature protection; wait for the device to warm up.
