Quick guide from the manual

Before using the Gooloo 1200A Jump Starter, ensure the battery level is above 60% (at least 3 bars on the indicator). If the device has not been used for more than two months, charge it first. The smart jumper cable provides critical status indicators: a solid green light means the connection is correct and ready to start; a solid red light with beeping indicates a reverse connection; a blinking green light indicates low vehicle battery voltage (press the BOOST button); and no lights indicate a potentially damaged vehicle battery.

Product Overview

The device features a 15V/1A input port for charging, a 12V/10A output port, and multiple USB output ports (5V/2.4A, 9V/2A, and 5V/2.1A). The power switch allows you to check the battery level, while the LED flashlight switch controls the lighting modes.

Charging the Device

You can charge the jump starter using the provided wall charger or car charger:

  • Wall Charger: Plug the charger into an AC outlet and connect the other end to the 15V/1A input port on the device.
  • Car Charger: Plug the adapter into the 12V cigarette lighter socket and connect the other end to the 15V/1A input port.

The battery indicators will blink during charging and turn off automatically when complete.

Jump Starting a Vehicle

  1. Ensure the jump starter has at least 60% battery.
  2. Connect the blue plug of the jumper cable fully into the jump starter socket.
  3. Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal and the black clamp to the negative (-) battery terminal.
  4. Check the jumper cable indicator:
    • Solid Green: Connection is correct; start the vehicle.
    • Solid Red + Beeping: Reverse connection; correct the clamps.
    • Blinking Green: Low vehicle battery; press the BOOST button, wait for the green light to turn solid, then start within 30 seconds.
  5. Once the engine starts, remove the jumper cable from the jump starter and disconnect the clamps from the vehicle battery.

Using the LED Flashlight

Press the LED flashlight switch to turn the light on. Press it slightly to cycle through the three modes: Normal, Strobe, and SOS. Press again to turn it off.

Safety and Maintenance

  • Do not submerge in water or expose to extreme temperatures.
  • Do not disassemble or modify the unit.
  • Do not short-circuit the clamps.
  • Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Recharge the device every 3 months to maintain battery health.
  • Only use the provided jumper cable and chargers.

Practical help

Common problems

No response when pressing the power switch

Low voltage protection may be active. Connect the device to the 15V/1A input to activate it.

Jumper cable red light is solid with beeping

Reverse connection detected. Disconnect clamps and reconnect them to the correct battery terminals.

Green light on jumper cable is blinking

Vehicle battery voltage is too low. Press the 'BOOST' button on the cable, wait for the green light to become solid, and start the engine within 30 seconds.

Device fails to charge other devices

The device has a minimum load current of 200mA. If the connected device draws less, the jump starter will automatically shut off after 30 seconds.

Before use

  • Ensure the jump starter battery level is above 60% (at least 3 bars).
  • Verify the jumper cable blue plug is fully inserted into the jump starter.
  • Clean vehicle battery terminals if they are dirty or corroded.
  • Ensure the jump starter is not being charged while attempting to start the vehicle.
  • Check that the jumper cable is not damaged.
