Quick Guide for Installation

The allen + roth 22-in Canterbury mirror is designed for wall mounting and can be installed either vertically or horizontally. The estimated installation time is 10 minutes. Important: Some steps are more easily handled with two adults. Before beginning, ensure all parts are present and you have the necessary tools: a Phillips screwdriver, utility knife or scissors, measuring tape, and a level.

Installation Instructions

Before installing, choose your orientation (Vertical or Horizontal). Ensure you have a second adult to assist with lifting the mirror.

Step 1: Measure

Measure the distance between the holes in the mounting hangers (B) on the back of the mirror (A). The distance is 20 1/2 inches (521 mm) for vertical mounting and 28 1/2 inches (725 mm) for horizontal mounting.

Step 2: Mark

Measure and mark the location for the mounting hardware on the wall using the measurements from Step 1. Ensure the marks are level and at the desired height.

Step 3: Install Hardware

There is no need to drill pilot holes for the wall anchors (AA). Screw the anchors (AA) flush into the wall. Insert the screws (BB) into the anchors, leaving approximately 1/4 inch of the screw protruding from the wall.

Step 4: Hang Mirror

With the assistance of another adult, lift the mirror (A) to the wall and hang the mounting hangers (B) onto the screws (BB).

Care and Maintenance

  • Dusting: Dust the frame regularly with a soft, non-lint producing cloth or household dusting product.
  • Cleaning: The frame can be cleaned with a non-abrasive household cleaner; dry the wood immediately with a soft cloth. The glass can be cleaned using standard household glass cleaning agents.
  • Touch-up Pen (CC): For scratches, stroke in the direction of the scratch. For worn areas, stroke in the direction of the wood grain. Rub excess colorant promptly with a soft cloth.

The manufacturer warrants this item against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, improper installation, or unauthorized modifications.
