Assembling and installing your gate

1. Insert the threaded spindle rods into the four corners of the gate frame.
2. Place the gate in the desired opening.
3. Ensure the gate is level and the bottom rubber feet are flat against the floor.
4. Tighten the spindle rods by turning them clockwise until the gate is secure.
5. Check that the gate is stable and the door swings freely.

Operating the floor latch

The gate features a floor latch for added stability:

• To open: Slide the button on the latch mechanism and lift the gate door.
• To close: Ensure the door is aligned with the latch and push down until it clicks into place.
• Always ensure the latch is fully engaged after closing the door.

Positioning and attaching wall cups

For safety and stability, wall cups must be used:

1. Position the gate in the opening and mark the location of the wall cups on the wall or door frame.
2. Remove the gate and align the wall cups with the marked positions.
3. Secure the wall cups to the wall using the provided screws.
4. Reposition the gate and tighten the spindle rods into the wall cups.

Care and maintenance

Periodically check all hardware to ensure it remains tight. Clean the gate using a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or bleach. If the gate is used outdoors, ensure it is protected from the elements to prevent rust.
