The Superfish Aqua LED Spot is designed for open aquariums. It is suitable for both tropical and coldwater setups with a glass thickness of up to 10 mm. Always ensure the device is protected by an earth leakage relay breaker (max 30mA) and maintain a minimum distance of 15 mm between the lighting and the water surface.
Safety
- Ensure the mains voltage matches the label specifications.
- Protect the socket and plug from moisture using a drip loop to prevent water from reaching electrical components.
- Do not operate the device with wet hands.
- If the lighting falls into the water, disconnect the power plug before retrieving it.
- The device can be used by children aged 8 and above under supervision.
- Do not immerse the LED lighting in water.
Installation
Attach the lamp clamp securely to the aquarium glass. Connect the lamp cable to the adapter and plug it into the mains socket. Ensure the lighting is installed correctly before switching on the power.
Maintenance
- Clean the lighting regularly with a damp cloth to maintain light output and longevity.
- The LEDs are not replaceable; replace the entire unit if they fail.
- The lighting can be tilted upwards for easier access during aquarium maintenance.
- Allow the unit to cool down before performing any maintenance.

Recycling
This product must not be disposed of with normal household waste. It should be taken to an official collection center or returned to the dealer when purchasing a similar new product.

Common problems
Lighting falls into the water
Immediately pull the plug from the socket before touching or lifting the lighting out of the water.
LEDs stop working
The LEDs are not replaceable. The entire lighting unit must be replaced.
Overheating during maintenance
The LED lighting becomes warm during operation. Allow it to cool down before cleaning or adjusting.
Before use
- Verify glass thickness is 10 mm or less.
- Ensure an earth leakage relay breaker (max 30mA) is installed.
- Create a drip loop in the power cable.
- Check that the mains voltage matches the device label.
- Ensure a minimum 15 mm distance between light and water surface.
