This generator is designed for outdoor use only. Before first use, you must assemble the wheels and support leg, connect the battery, and fill the engine with oil (10W-30) and gasoline (87 octane, max 10% ethanol). The generator features a wireless remote start system and CO Shield technology for carbon monoxide detection and automatic shutoff.

Safety and CO Shield
DANGER: Generator exhaust contains carbon monoxide, a poisonous gas that can kill you in minutes. Never operate the generator indoors, in garages, basements, or enclosed spaces, even if doors and windows are open. Always operate outdoors in a well-ventilated area.
The CO Shield system monitors for carbon monoxide accumulation. If unsafe levels are detected, the generator will automatically shut off and a red LED will blink. If this occurs, move the generator to an open, outdoor area and point the exhaust away from people and buildings.
Assembly
1. Support Leg: Tip the generator onto the control panel side and attach the support leg with the provided flange bolts.

2. Wheels: Slide wheels onto the axle, secure with washers and bolts, and install hub caps.
3. Battery: Remove the battery access cover and push the two halves of the battery connector together.
4. Oil: Remove the oil fill access cover, add 1.2 US qt. (1100 mL) of 10W-30 oil using the included funnel. Do not overfill.
Operation
Wireless Remote Start: Ensure the fuel dial is in the ON position and press the ignition control button once to enter standby mode. Press the START button on the remote key fob. The engine will attempt to start up to six times.

Manual Start: Ensure the fuel dial is in the ON position, press the ignition control button to enter standby mode, press the CHOKE button, and pull the recoil cord. Once started, press the choke button again to set to RUN.
High Altitude: Engine power is reduced at high altitudes. Contact technical support for a high-altitude carburetor main jet if operating above 3000 ft.
Maintenance
Follow the maintenance schedule to ensure longevity:

- Every 8 hours/Before use: Check oil level, clean around air intake and muffler.
- First 5 hours: Change oil.
- Every 50 hours/Annually: Clean air filter, change oil if operating under heavy load.
- Every 100 hours/Annually: Change oil, clean/adjust spark plug, clean spark arrestor, clean fuel valve filter.
Storage
For short-term storage (up to 30 days), turn the fuel dial to the GASOLINE VALVE OFF position and let the engine run until it stops from fuel starvation. For long-term storage, add fuel stabilizer to the tank, run the engine to cycle the fuel, and follow the procedure to drain the carburetor and lubricate the cylinder.
Troubleshooting
If the generator fails to start, check for fuel, ensure the spark plug wire is connected, check the oil level, and ensure the fuel dial is in the ON position. If the generator shuts down during operation, check for CO accumulation or low oil levels.
