Safety Warnings

DANGER: Using a generator indoors can kill you in minutes. Generator exhaust contains carbon monoxide, a poison you cannot see or smell. Never use inside a home or garage, even if doors and windows are open. Only use outdoors, far away from windows, doors, and vents.

NOTICE: Keep all objects at least 5 feet (1.5 m) from the generator. Heat from the muffler and exhaust gas can ignite combustible materials.

Before starting the generator, complete the following steps:

  • Install Wheel Kit: Attach the wheels to the generator frame.

  • Positioning: Move the generator outdoors to a safe location.

Gasoline Operation

  1. Turn the fuel select dial to the "GASOLINE RUN" position.
  2. Press the ignition control button once to enter standby mode.
  3. Press and release the "START" button on the remote control.

Note: Do not use E15 or E85 fuel for gasoline operation.

Propane (LPG) and Natural Gas (NG) Operation

  1. Open the propane tank or natural gas valve.
  2. Turn the fuel select dial to the "PROPANE RUN" or "NATURAL GAS RUN" position.
  3. Press the ignition control button once to enter standby mode.
  4. Press and release the "START" button on the remote control.

Operating Instructions

Once the engine is running, ensure all circuit breakers are set to the ON or closed position. If necessary, flip or push the reset button on the circuit breakers. You may then connect your electrical loads.
