Mounting and Installation
Duct Sensor (1509857):

- Install in an area with well-mixed, uniform airflow.
- If used as a supply air sensor, mount downstream of steam distribution at 1.5 times the absorption distance (typically 10-12 ft / 3-3.7m).
- If used as a return air sensor, mount close to the air inlet but downstream from any return fan.
- Drill a 16 mm (5/8") hole and 4 holes for self-tapping screws.
- Insert probe, fix housing with screws, and ensure the gasket is applied centrally.
Wall Humidistat (2520261):
- Install in a protected, accessible location at least 1.5m above the floor.
- Mount on a flush-mounting or surface-mounting box.
- Remove the mounting plate, connect wires, fix the plate to the box, and snap the housing onto the plate.
Wiring
Refer to the wiring diagrams in the manual for specific connections based on your system configuration (e.g., RS, EL, GS, US, SE, DL, ME). Ensure the factory jumper is correctly positioned. The unit operates on 24V AC/DC.
Operation and Configuration
The LCD display shows actual humidity and setpoint. Use the keypad to adjust settings:
- Switching On/Off: Long press the power button.
- Adjusting Setpoint: Briefly press the up/down arrows.
- Parameter Access: Press the up and down buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. Enter the code (0009 for user, 00241 for control) using the up/down buttons and confirm.
Sensor Calibration
If calibration is required:
- Press the % button for > 2 seconds until the UI value is displayed.
- Press the % button to see the calibration value.
- Use UP/DOWN buttons to calibrate.
- Press the % button to save.
Error Messages
- AL5 & AL7: External sensor value below 5% RH. Check cabling. Acknowledge alarm with the < > button after fixing.
