Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to prepare your device for use:
- Download the App: Visit elgato.com/download to download and install the latest version of the Stream Deck software.
- Connect the Device: Plug the Stream Deck directly into a USB port on your PC or Mac. Do not use a USB hub, as it may cause connectivity issues.
Customizing Your Stream Deck
Once the app is installed and the device is connected, you can begin personalizing your keys:
- Assign Actions: Launch the Stream Deck app. Drag actions from the right-hand panel and drop them onto the desired keys on the left.
- Personalize Icons: You can configure keys with custom icons. For the best results, use .jpg or .png files with a resolution of 72 x 72 pixels.
