This document provides essential instructions for the DDPAI MINI Pro dash cam. It covers the initial setup, installation, app pairing, and basic operation. For optimal performance, ensure the windshield is clean before installation and that the device is connected to a stable power source via the cigarette lighter socket.

The device features a compact design with the following components:

- Micro USB Port: For power connection.

Installation
- Clean: Thoroughly clean the area on the windshield where the camera will be mounted to ensure strong adhesion.
- Mount: Remove the protective film from the 3M adhesive on the bracket and press it firmly onto the windshield. Ensure the camera has an unobstructed view of the road without blocking the driver's view.
- Cable Routing: Use the provided installation tool to tuck the power cable into the vehicle's molding/trim.
- Power: Connect the power cable to the dash cam and the car charger, then plug the charger into the cigarette lighter socket.
- Adjustment: Start the engine to power on the device. Rotate the camera to adjust the lens angle. It is recommended to point the lens slightly downwards (approx. 10° below horizontal) for a 6:4 road-to-background ratio.
LED Indicator Guide
- Blue light always on: Power on instantly.
- Blue light flashes slowly: Working fine (normal recording).
- Red light flashes slowly: Parking monitoring mode.
- Purple light flashes quickly: Abnormal storage (check SD card).
- Purple light always on: Upgrading firmware.
App Setup and Usage
To access advanced features, install the DDPai app:

- Pairing: Keep your phone within 2.5 meters of the dash cam. Open the app, select 'Device > Connect new devices'.
- Wi-Fi Connection: Select the dash cam from the network list. The default SSID is DDPAI_MINIPro_XXXX and the default password is 1234567890.
- Preview: Once connected, select 'Device > Entering' to view the live feed. Rotate your phone to landscape mode for a better view.
- Playback & Download: Use the timeline bar at the bottom of the screen to select a recording. Tap the thumbnail to preview or the download icon to save the video to your phone.
