This manual covers the installation and operation of the Della 048-TL-W8KI, 048-TL-W10KI, and 048-TL-W12KI air conditioners. Before use, ensure the unit is properly installed in a window, grounded, and that the power supply matches the requirements. The unit features multiple modes including Cool, Dry, Fan, and Auto, as well as energy-saving options like Eco and Sleep modes.

Installation
The air conditioner is designed for standard single-hung or double-hung windows. Ensure the window width is between 25 and 36 inches (645-915 mm) and provides at least 14.5 inches of vertical clearance.

- Packaging: Remove all packaging straps and wraps.
- Foam Seal: Apply the adhesive foam seal to the upper window frame.
- Placement: Lift the unit into the windowsill, ensuring it is centered. The unit should be tilted slightly (about 3 degrees) toward the outside for proper condensate drainage.
- Brackets: Extend side brackets and secure them to the window frame using the provided 3/4 inch screws.
- Sealing: Secure side panels to the brackets and use plasticene to fill any remaining crevices.
- Top Rail: Install the 1/2 inch screw into the top rail.
- Security: Attach the security bracket to the top of the window sash.
Operation
The unit can be controlled via the onboard control panel or the included remote control.

- Power: Turns the unit on or to standby.
- Mode: Cycles through Cool, Dry, Fan, and Auto modes.
- Fan Speed: Adjusts between Low, Med, High, and Auto.
- Temperature: Use the up/down arrows to adjust the set temperature.
- Eco Mode: Saves energy by cycling the compressor and fan based on the set temperature.
- Sleep Mode: Gradually adjusts temperature for comfort and mutes button sounds.
- Timer: Allows setting the unit to turn on or off automatically (0.5 to 24 hours).
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

- Air Filter: Check monthly. Pull the grille out, remove the filter, wash with warm water and mild soap, and let it dry completely before reinstalling.
- Cabinet: Dust with an oil-free cloth or wipe with a damp cloth using mild soap. Do not use harsh cleaners.
- Winter Storage: Remove the unit from the window and store it in the original box.
Troubleshooting
If the unit does not start, check the power plug, house fuse, or circuit breaker. If the unit is not cooling effectively, ensure the filter is clean, the room is not too warm, and the unit is not blocked by curtains or furniture. If water is dripping inside, ensure the unit is tilted slightly toward the outside.
