The Della 048-OPAC-9H is a portable air conditioner with heat pump functionality. Before using the unit, ensure it is placed on a flat surface with at least 50cm (19.7 inches) of clearance from walls or obstacles. The unit must be plugged directly into a grounded wall outlet; do not use extension cords or power strips. If the unit emits smoke or a burning smell, disconnect it immediately. The unit uses R32 refrigerant, which is flammable; handle with care.
Product Overview
The unit features a control panel on the top, an air outlet, and a temperature display. On the back, you will find the air filter, air exhaust, and two drain outlets (upper and bottom) for water removal.

Installation
Proper installation is critical for efficiency:

- Exhaust Hose: Connect the exhaust hose to the hose connector and the window kit adapter. Attach the connector to the air exhaust on the unit. Keep the hose as straight and short as possible to maintain cooling efficiency.
- Window Slider Kit: Adjust the slider kit to fit your window (vertical or horizontal). Use the provided screws to secure the length. Attach the window kit adapter to the slider kit and seal gaps with the provided foam seal.
Operation
The unit can be operated via the control panel or the included remote control:
- Cool Mode: Select via Mode button. Adjust temperature between 61°F - 90°F (16°C - 32°C).
- Heat Mode: Select via Mode button. Adjust temperature between 61°F - 90°F.
- Dry Mode: Used for dehumidification.
- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling or heating.
- Sleep Mode: Adjusts temperature automatically over 2 hours and maintains it for 10 hours.
- Timer: Allows setting a turn-on or shut-off time.
- Oscillation: Enables the air outlet vents to swing side to side.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance:

- Cleaning: Shut down and unplug the unit before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive solvents.
- Air Filter: Remove the filter, clean it with a vacuum or warm water with mild detergent, and ensure it is completely dry before reinstalling.
- Water Drainage: If the internal tank is full, the display will show the "FL" error code. Move the unit to a drain location, remove the bottom drain plug, and drain the water. For continuous drainage in dry mode, use the upper drain outlet with a drain hose.
- Storage: Drain all water, clean the filter, and dry the evaporator (run in low fan mode) before storing in an upright position.
Troubleshooting
If the unit is nonoperational, check for power failure, tripped breakers, a full water tank, or if the temperature is outside the operating range. If cooling/heating capacity is reduced, check for vent obstructions, dirty filters, open windows/doors, or a loose exhaust hose. Error codes include: 00/E0 (Communication fault), E1 (Ambient sensor failure), E2 (Coil sensor failure), and Ft (Full water tank).
Safety and Grounding
The power cord features an integrated circuit breaker. Periodically press the TEST button on the plug to ensure it trips, then press RESET to engage. If the breaker does not function, unplug the unit and contact a technician. Do not modify the plug.
