Quick guide from the manual

The Donner ARENA2000 is a professional guitar multi-effects processor. This guide helps you quickly set up your device, manage presets, and utilize built-in features like the looper and drum machine. Always ensure you use the provided 9V DC power adapter to prevent noise or damage.

Device Overview

The unit features a 3.5-inch TFT color screen, five parameter knobs, and three footswitches (A, B, C) for preset selection. Rear connections include XLR and 1/4" outputs, USB-C for computer connectivity, AUX IN, and an EXP2 jack for external pedals.

Making Connections

  • Connect your guitar to the Input jack.
  • Connect your amplifier or audio interface to the Output jacks (XLR or 1/4").
  • Use the USB-C port to connect to a computer for tone editing and firmware updates.
  • Always turn on the effect device first, then your playback devices (amplifiers). Reverse this order when powering down.

Using Presets

The ARENA2000 includes 150 presets organized into 50 banks. Use the Value Knob to browse presets. Pressing footswitches A, B, or C selects the preset within the current bank. You can change the order of effect blocks by pressing the Home button, selecting the effects chain with the Value Knob, and moving blocks to your desired position.

Looper and Drum Machine

The built-in looper provides up to 60 seconds of recording time. Use Footswitch A to record/play/dub, Footswitch B to stop, and Footswitch C for special functions like reverse or half-speed. The drum machine offers 40 patterns; use the DRUM button to enter the interface and the Value Knob to adjust the tempo (40-240 BPM).

System Settings

Access global settings by pressing the SYSTEM button. Here you can configure input levels, USB audio routing, screen brightness, and perform factory resets. You can also lock the touch buttons by pressing CTRL and OUTPUT simultaneously.
