This solar charger is designed to maintain 12V batteries in vehicles like cars, trucks, boats, and RVs. It prevents battery drain using solar energy and features a built-in diode to prevent reverse charging.

Installation
Use the 4 included PVC suckers to attach the panel to the inside of the windshield or the exterior of the vehicle.





Wiring Connections
Cigarette Lighter Connection
Connect the cigarette lighter cable to the solar panel's SAE plug. Insert the connector into the vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. Note: This works with the majority of vehicles, but some sockets are disabled when the engine is off.
Alligator Clips Connection
Connect the alligator clip cable to the solar panel's SAE plug. Clamp the red clip to the positive (+) terminal and the black clip to the negative (-) terminal of the battery.
Safety Precautions
- Remove the cigarette lighter plug before starting the motor. Do not use while driving.
- Do not short circuit the terminals or connect in reverse.
- Indicator Light: Always on = charging; Flashing = battery full; Off = no solar input.
- Remove protective wrapping before use.
- Avoid scratching the surface and do not subject the panel to uneven pressure.

Practical help
Common problems
Some vehicles turn off the socket when the engine is off. Use the alligator clips to connect directly to the battery instead.
There is no solar input. Ensure the panel is exposed to direct sunlight.
The battery is fully charged.
Before use
- Remove protective wrapping from the solar panel
- Ensure the battery is a 12V battery
- Check that the cigarette lighter socket is active (if using that method)
- Verify the red clip is positive (+) and black is negative (-)

- The voltage at which the solar panel produces maximum power (18.7V).
- Imp (Optimum Operating Current)
- The current at which the solar panel produces maximum power (0.29A for 5W, 0.58A for 10W).
