This document provides essential instructions for operating the Einhell TC-CL 18/1800 Li 18V cordless work light. The device is designed for portable illumination and must be used exclusively with Power-X-Change series Li-Ion batteries and chargers.

Operation

Fitting the battery: Press the side pushlock button on the battery pack and slide it into the battery mount until it clicks into place.

Switching on/off and adjusting brightness: Turn the ON/OFF switch clockwise to turn the lamp on at the lowest setting. Continue turning clockwise to increase brightness, or counterclockwise to decrease it. Turn counterclockwise until you hear a click to switch the lamp off.

Adjusting lighting position: Loosen the fastening screws on both sides of the lamphead, adjust to the desired angle, and retighten the screws.

Fastening with the hook: Loosen the fastening screws for the foot on both sides, swivel the frame to the stop, retighten the screws, and hang the lamp using the integrated hook.

Battery charge level indicator

Press the button for the battery charge level indicator to see the status via 3 LEDs:

• All 3 LEDs lit: Battery is fully charged.
• 2 or 1 LED lit: Battery has sufficient remaining charge.
• 1 LED blinks: Battery is empty; recharge immediately.
• All LEDs flash: Battery temperature is too high. Remove the battery and let it cool at room temperature for one day. If the fault persists, the battery is defective and must not be used or charged.

Cleaning and maintenance

Always remove the battery before cleaning. Keep air vents and the motor housing free of dust and dirt. Wipe the device with a clean cloth or use low-pressure compressed air. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents, as they may damage plastic parts.
