Quick guide from the manual

The Einhell Pressito 18V Hybrid Compressor is a versatile tool designed for inflating car, motorcycle, and bicycle tires, as well as sports balls, air mattresses, and similar items. It also features a low-pressure blower function for deflating large-volume items. The device can be powered via a standard mains connection (220-240V) or by an 18V rechargeable battery (not included). Note that the device does not charge the battery.

Device Description

The compressor features a handle, an accessory storage compartment, an air hose for blowing, a compressed air hose with a valve adapter, and an air hose connection for suction. The control panel includes a display, a selector switch for power source (mains/battery), a selector switch for operation mode (compressed air/off/low-pressure blower), and buttons to adjust pressure and units (bar, PSI, kPa).

Operation

Compressed Air Mode

Use the compressed air hose (5) for inflation. Connect the appropriate adapter (bicycle, conical, or ball valve) to the object. Set the selector switch (12) to compressed air mode. Use the buttons (14, 16) to set the desired pressure, which is shown on the display (11). The compressor will automatically stop once the target pressure is reached. Allow the compressor to cool down for 5 minutes after every 5 minutes of operation.

Low-Pressure Blower Mode

For inflating or deflating large-volume items (e.g., air mattresses), connect the air hose (3) to either the inflation connection (4) or the suction connection (13). Set the selector switch (12) to low-pressure mode and turn the device on. Turn it off manually once the object is sufficiently inflated or deflated.

Safety and Maintenance

Always wear ear protection. The device generates an electromagnetic field that may affect medical implants; consult a doctor if necessary. Before cleaning, always remove the battery and unplug the device. Keep air vents and the motor housing free of dust and dirt. Wipe with a clean cloth or blow out with low-pressure compressed air. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents.

Storage

Store the device and accessories in a dark, dry, and frost-free place, ideally between 5°C and 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.

Check if the power socket has voltage and if the charger contacts are clean and making proper contact.

Compressor overheats

Allow the compressor to cool down for 5 minutes after every 5 minutes of continuous operation.

Pressure reading slightly higher than set pressure

This is normal due to overpressure in the air hose just before the device switches off.

Before use

  • Check the device for transport damage.
  • Ensure the intake air is dry and dust-free.
  • Verify that the mains voltage matches the rating plate (for mains operation).
  • Verify that the battery voltage matches the rating plate (for battery operation).
  • Ensure the device is placed on a firm, level surface.
