Before starting, ensure power is disconnected at the main fuse box. This fixture must be installed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations. If you are unfamiliar with these requirements, consult a certified electrician.
Mounting the Fixture

- Position the mounting bracket (A) so the threaded ends of the fixture mounting screws (E) face outward.
- Pull house wires through the large hole in the mounting bracket.
- Align the bracket holes with the junction box holes and secure using junction box screws (B). Ensure the fixture mounting screws (E) are level.
Wiring Connections
Strip 3/4 inch of insulation from the ends of the fixture wires.

- Ground Wire: Loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket. Wrap the house ground wire around the screw. Twist the fixture ground wire and house ground wire together, then secure with a wire nut (C).
- Lead Wire (Black): Twist the house lead wire (black) and fixture lead wire together. Secure with a wire nut (C).
- Neutral Wire (White): Twist the house neutral wire (white) and fixture neutral wire together. Secure with a wire nut (C).
After connecting, wrap electrical tape around the wire nuts and wires to ensure they are securely fastened. Push all wires and wire nuts into the junction box.
Final Assembly

- Place the backplate (D) over the mounting bracket (A), passing the holes over the fixture mounting screws (E).
- Secure the fixture to the wall by screwing the threaded caps (F) onto the mounting screws. Do not overtighten.
- Install the recommended E26 Edison bulb (not included) into the socket. Verify the wattage does not exceed the maximum marked on the socket.
- Lower the shade (K) over the arm. Align the holes in the shade with the holes in the arm and secure using the thumbscrews (L).
