The Enerlites 17007-F3 is a 3-speed slide fan control switch designed for single-pole installations. Before installation, ensure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker. The device does not require a neutral wire. For proper operation, the ceiling fan must be set to its highest speed setting before using the wall switch.
Product Description and Features
This control offers versatile regulation of ceiling fan speed with three distinct settings. It is designed for simplicity and functionality to optimize air circulation.
- Single Pole installation.
- No neutral wire required.
- Terminal screws for easy installation.
Specifications
- Voltage: 120VAC, 60Hz
- Fan Load: 2.5A
- Operating Temperature: 32°F to 104°F
Installation and Wiring
Warning: Turn off the power at the circuit breaker before installing. Use copper wire only. It is recommended that a qualified electrician performs the installation.

- Insert the HOT wire to the fan's HOT terminal.
- Insert the LOAD wire to the fan's Load terminal.
- Insert the GROUND wire to the fan's GROUND terminal.
Operating Instructions
Before using this switch, ensure the ceiling fan is set to the high speed setting. Some fans may have a pull string to adjust this. The fan control is off when the slider is at the zero position. Sliding the control up through positions 1-3 increases the fan speed from low to high.

Safety Warnings
Do not install this device to control a receptacle, motor-operated appliance (other than a fan), fluorescent lighting fixture, or a transformer-supplied appliance. Risk of electric shock: more than one disconnect switch may be required to de-energize the device before servicing.
Practical help
Common problems
Ensure the ceiling fan itself is set to the 'high' speed setting using its pull string or internal switch before using the wall control.
Verify the slider is not in the '0' (off) position and check that the circuit breaker is on.
Before use
- Turn off power at the circuit breaker.
- Verify the fan is a standard ceiling fan (not a fluorescent light or transformer-supplied appliance).
- Ensure you are using copper wire only.
- Set the ceiling fan to 'high' speed before installation.
- Confirm the installation is a single-pole setup.
Specs in practice
- Operating Temperature
- 32°F-104°F - The ambient temperature range in which the switch is designed to operate safely.
Images and diagrams
- The wiring diagram illustrates the connection of Hot, Load, and Ground wires to the switch terminals.
- The operation diagram shows the slider positions 0 (Off) through 3 (High).
