Safety instructions

Installation

Installing batteries

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Insert one CR2032 3V battery, ensuring correct polarity. Do not mix old and new batteries.
3. Close the cover.
4. Point the remote towards the monitor sensor; effective range is within 7 meters.

External equipment connections

The monitor supports various inputs including HDMI, VGA, and BNC. To connect:

• Power: Connect the power cord to the DC input socket. The power indicator on the front panel will light up green when on.
• BNC Connection: Connect the BNC output of your processor to the BNC input on the monitor. You can daisy-chain monitors using the BNC output.
• PC Connection: Connect the RGB output of the PC to the VGA jack on the monitor. The monitor supports plug-and-play via the DDC protocol.

Basic OSD setup

Use the OSD (On-Screen Display) menu to adjust monitor settings:

• Turning on/off: Connect the power cable, then use the POWER button on the front panel or remote to switch between standby and active modes.
• Selecting input source: Press the INPUT button on the remote or front panel to cycle through VGA, BNC1, BNC2, HDMI, and YPBPR.

• System options: Change OSD language, duration, transparency, or perform a software update via USB under the OPTION and FUNCTION menus.

Troubleshooting

• No picture: Check if the power plug is connected, the power button is pressed, and contrast/brightness settings are correct.
• No sound: Check volume levels, ensure the sound is not muted, and verify audio cable connections.
• Remote not working: Check for obstructions, ensure batteries are installed with correct polarity, or replace batteries.
• Signal out of range: Adjust resolution, horizontal/vertical frequency, or check the input source.
• Picture appears slowly: This is normal during the startup process.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning can extend the life of your monitor:

• Cleaning the screen: Use a soft cloth dampened with a mixture of lukewarm water and a little fabric softener or dishwashing detergent. Wring the cloth until almost dry before wiping. Allow the screen to air-dry completely before turning it on.
• Cleaning the cabinet: Wipe with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use a wet cloth.
