The EXIT Trailer for pedal go-kart is designed for outdoor use. This manual provides essential information for assembly, safe operation, and maintenance. Please read all instructions carefully before use to ensure the safety of the child.
Safety Warnings
- Adult assembly required: The product contains sharp edges and small parts in an unassembled state. Keep out of reach of children until fully assembled.
- Supervision: Continuous adult supervision is required at all times.
- Usage: For outdoor use only on flat ground. Do not use in traffic, near motor vehicles, streets, steps, sloped driveways, hills, alleys, or near swimming pools.
- Capacity: Only one driver allowed. Do not overload the trailer.
- Age limits: Not suitable for children under 24 months (Foxy models) or 36 months (Spider/Cheetah models).
- Protective gear: Always wear a helmet and shoes.
Assembly
Refer to the parts list on page 35 to identify all components. Follow the assembly diagrams on pages 36 and 37 to construct the trailer. Ensure all bolts and screws are tightened securely before use.
Maintenance
- Weekly checks: Inspect the trailer regularly for wear and tear. Replace worn parts immediately.
- Cleaning: Use environmentally friendly products. Do not use caustic materials. Protect the frame from salt and moisture.
- Tires: Maintain constant tire pressure. Do not expose tires to oil, grease, or fuel. Ensure valve caps are always fitted.
- Bearings: Grease the bearings once per year.
Guarantee Conditions
The owner is entitled to a 2-year guarantee on the frame and a 6-month guarantee on all parts under regular use. The guarantee does not cover wear and tear parts (like chains and tires) or damage resulting from accidents, professional use, or improper assembly. Contact Dutch Toys Group or your dealer with the original purchase bill for claims.
Practical help
Common problems
Trailer is harder to ride
Check tire pressure. Low pressure increases wear and resistance.
Rust on frame
Keep the frame clean and dry. Use acid-free Vaseline for protection if desired.
Tires marking surfaces
Tires are made of vulcanized rubber and may mark sensitive floors. Protect surfaces if using indoors.
Before use
- Ensure all bolts and screws are tight.
- Check that tire pressure is correct.
- Verify that brakes are functioning properly.
- Ensure the child is within the appropriate age range (2-5 for Foxy, 3-8 for Spider).
- Confirm the area is flat and free of traffic or hazards.
