This document provides installation and usage instructions for the Falmec Alba ceiling hood. The hood can be installed in various configurations (with motor on the hood, SLIM motor, remote motor, or conveyor kit). Safety

  • Installation must be performed by qualified installers in compliance with local regulations.

Installation

Operation

Switch on the hood at least one minute before cooking to direct fumes towards the suction surface. Leave the hood running after cooking until all vapors and odors are extracted. The Timer function allows for automatic switch-off after 15 minutes.

Speed selection

  • 1st speed: Low energy consumption, clean air.
  • 2nd speed: Normal use.
  • 3rd speed: Strong odors and vapors.
  • 4th speed: Rapid disposal of odors and vapors.

Maintenance

Disconnect the power supply before cleaning. Clean external surfaces at least every 15 days using non-abrasive detergents. Metal anti-grease filters should be washed at least once a month in hot water with dish soap or in a dishwasher at low temperatures. Do not clean electrical or motor parts with liquids or solvents.
