  3. Place the chain on the drive sprocket and seat it into the guide bar groove.
  4. Ensure the adjustment pin fits into the hole in the guide bar.
  5. Replace the sprocket cover and tighten the fastening nut lightly.
  6. Tension the chain using the tensioning screw until it can be lifted 3-4 mm in the middle of the guide bar.
  7. Tighten the fastening nut firmly.

Operating the chain saw

To start the saw, press the trigger safety lock button and then the start/stop trigger. The saw will run at maximum speed. To turn it off, release the trigger. The saw is equipped with an automatic chain brake that stops the chain immediately in the event of kickback.
