The Fieldmann FZP 2000-E is an electric chain saw designed for cutting wood. Before first use, ensure the oil tank is filled with oil specified for total-loss lubrication. Always check the chain tension and the functionality of the chain brake before every use. Wear appropriate protective gear, including a safety helmet, safety glasses, and ear protection.
Description of the chain saw
The chain saw consists of the following main components:

- Start/stop trigger
- Power cord safety hook
- Rear and front handles
- Safety chain brake
- Guide bar with chain
- Oil tank cap and window
Installing the guide bar and chain
Attention: The chain saw must be disconnected from the power grid before installation.

- Disengage the safety brake lever.
- Use the included wrench to remove the sprocket cover.
- Place the chain on the drive sprocket and seat it into the guide bar groove.
- Ensure the adjustment pin fits into the hole in the guide bar.
- Replace the sprocket cover and tighten the fastening nut lightly.
- Tension the chain using the tensioning screw until it can be lifted 3-4 mm in the middle of the guide bar.
- Tighten the fastening nut firmly.
Operating the chain saw
To start the saw, press the trigger safety lock button and then the start/stop trigger. The saw will run at maximum speed. To turn it off, release the trigger. The saw is equipped with an automatic chain brake that stops the chain immediately in the event of kickback.
Cleaning and maintenance
Keep the body of the chain saw clean using a soft cloth and soap solution. Regularly remove sawdust from the guide bar groove. Check the guide bar for uneven wear; if the groove is widened, replace the guide bar. Sharpen the chain when cutting becomes difficult or only sawdust is produced.

Storage
If the saw will not be used for longer than 30 days, drain the oil tank, clean the guide bar and chain, and store the saw in a dry location out of reach of children.
