The Fieldmann FZR 2070-E is an electric lawn mower designed for residential use. Before operating, ensure the power cable is undamaged and the lawn is clear of debris. Always wear protective gear, including hearing and eye protection. To start the mower, press and hold the safety button, then pull the switch lever towards the handle.
Assembly
Handle Assembly
Attach the lower handle section to the chassis using the provided screws and wing nuts (Fig 2.1). Connect the upper and lower handle sections using the quick-release levers (Fig 2.2). Secure the power cable to the handle using the plastic clips.

Grass Catcher
Attach the textile part of the grass catcher to the steel frame using the plastic loops (Fig 4.1). To install, lift the rear cover and hook the catcher into place.

Side Discharge and Mulching
To use side discharge, release the safety lock, lift the cover, and attach the side discharge chute (Fig 5.1). For mulching, lift the rear discharge cover and insert the mulching plug until it clicks into place (Fig 5.2).


Operation
Cutting Height Adjustment
Ensure the mower is turned off and the blade is stationary before adjusting. Use the central lever to select one of the 6 height positions, ranging from 25 mm to 75 mm.
Starting and Stopping
Connect the mower to a 230-240V power source. To start, press and hold the safety button (Fig 6.1, pos 1) and pull the switch lever towards the handle (Fig 6.1, pos 2). To stop, release the switch lever.

Self-Propulsion
To engage the self-propulsion function, press the propulsion lever towards the handle (Fig 6.2, pos 1). Release the lever to stop the propulsion.

Maintenance
Always disconnect the power supply before performing maintenance. Regularly check the blade for damage or dullness. If the blade needs replacement, use a wrench to loosen the blade bolt (turn counter-clockwise), replace the blade, and tighten the bolt (turn clockwise). Wear protective gloves during this process.
Troubleshooting
- Mower won't start: Check if the extension cable is properly connected to the mower and the power source. Check the switch.
- Uneven cutting: Check the lawn for unevenness or adjust the cutting height.
- Mower doesn't mulch: Ensure the underside of the deck is clean; wet grass may be clogging the area.
- Excessive vibration: Check if the motor shaft is bent or if the blade is unbalanced.
