Quick Guide

The Fieldmann FDPO 200711-E is a 710W electrical reciprocating saw designed for cutting various materials. Before using the tool, ensure you have read all safety instructions. Always disconnect the power supply before performing any adjustments, such as changing the saw blade or cleaning the device.

Machine Description

The saw consists of the following key components:

• On/Off switch (1)
• Locking button (2)
• Locking for speed (3)
• Saw blade (4)
• Soleplate (5)
• Blade holder (6)
• Lever to adjust the soleplate (8)
• LED working light (9)

Before Starting the Equipment

Ensure the mains voltage matches the data on the rating plate. Always unplug the tool before making adjustments.

Changing the Saw Blade

1. Switch off and unplug the reciprocating saw.
2. Turn the ring on the blade holder (6) until the blade can be inserted into the slot.
3. Release the ring; it should return to its starting position. If not, turn it by hand.
4. Pull on the blade to verify it is securely locked.

Adjusting the Soleplate

1. Loosen the lever (8).
2. Pull or push the soleplate to the desired position.
3. Push the lever (8) back to secure the soleplate.

Electronic Speed Control

The speed is controlled by the pressure applied to the On/Off switch (1). You can also use the speed selection dial (3) on the switch to set the desired speed: turn towards '+' for higher speed and '-' for lower speed.

Operational

Switching On/Off: Press the On/Off switch (1) to start. Release it to stop.

Locking: You can lock the On/Off switch (1) using the locking button (2) during operation. To unlock, briefly hold down the On/Off switch.

Usage: Place the saw on the material to be cut. Switch on the tool and push it against the material. Adapt your cutting speed to the material being cut.

LED Lamp: The LED light (9) illuminates the work area automatically when the tool is plugged into a socket.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Always pull out the mains power plug before cleaning. Keep air vents and the motor housing free of dust. Wipe the equipment with a clean cloth or use low-pressure compressed air. Do not use solvents or cleaning agents that could damage plastic parts. In case of excessive sparking, have the carbon brushes checked by a qualified electrician.
