The Fieldmann FDP 200805-E is an 800W electric jigsaw intended for home and hobby use. Before starting, ensure the workpiece is securely clamped, the blade is appropriate for the material, and you are wearing protective gear (eye and ear protection). Always disconnect the power supply before performing any adjustments, blade changes, or maintenance.
Machine description
The jigsaw features the following main components:

- 1: Main switch (ON/OFF)
- 2: Pendulum regulator
- 3: Base
- 4: Speed regulator
- 5: Laser beam
- 6: Protective guard
- 7: Guide
- 8: Switch lock
- 9: Laser switch
- 11: Power cable
- 12: Saw blade
Operation

Blade replacement
Always unplug the tool before changing the blade. Open the transparent plastic guard, turn the quick-release chuck to the right, insert the blade (teeth facing forward) until it stops, and release the chuck. Ensure the blade is properly seated in the guide roller and the chuck is tight. Close the guard.
Laser adjustment
If the laser is misaligned, loosen the front or side screws, hold the saw against a straight edge, adjust the laser holder until the beam aligns with the edge, and retighten the screws.
Pendulum setting
Adjust the pendulum action using the regulator on the left side of the tool. Settings range from 0 to 3:
- 0: Steel, Aluminum, Sheet metal
- 1-2: Plastics
- 2-3: Wood, Chipboard
Cutting
For straight cuts, mark the line, place the front of the base on the workpiece, and move the saw forward at its own pace. Do not force the tool. For thin materials, place a wooden board underneath to reduce vibration.
Maintenance
Keep ventilation slots clean to prevent overheating. Clean the tool with a damp cloth and mild detergent; do not use aggressive chemicals or solvents. Regularly check carbon brushes and replace them in pairs if worn.
