The Fieldmann FZV 2005-E is an electric scarifier and aerator designed for private home gardens. Safety is paramount: do not operate the machine in the rain or wet conditions, keep children and animals away, and always wear sturdy shoes and long trousers. Ensure the power cable is kept away from the scarifier roller at all times.

Assembly
Handle Assembly: Insert the lower handle section into the machine body and secure it with the provided screws. Attach the middle section to the lower handle using the provided bolts. Finally, attach the upper handle section, ensuring the cable clip is installed on the right side. Secure the cable to the handle using the plastic clips.

Grass Catcher: The grass catcher is supplied assembled. Lift the rear cover of the scarifier, hook the catcher into the designated slots on the machine body, and release the cover.
Operation
Starting: Press and hold the safety button, then pull the switch lever towards the handle. Release the safety button once the motor is running.

Stopping: Simply release the switch lever.
Depth Adjustment: Use the lever on the machine to adjust the working depth. Position 1 is for transport. The recommended working depth is max 3 mm. Adjusting too deep can overload the motor and damage the lawn.
Maintenance
Cleaning: Clean the machine after every use. Remove grass and debris from the wheels, roller, and housing. Do not use high-pressure water or sharp objects for cleaning.

Blade Replacement: Always disconnect the power supply and wear protective gloves before performing maintenance. Unscrew the bolts on the underside of the chassis, lift the roller at an angle to remove it, and insert the new roller, ensuring the pin engages correctly with the drive shaft.
