The Fieldmann FZR 2023-E is a rotary electric lawnmower designed for home garden use. This guide covers essential assembly, operation, and maintenance steps. Always read the full safety instructions before use. Ensure the power cord is never in the path of the mower and use an RCD-protected power source.
Description
The lawnmower consists of a start lever, start button, upper and lower handle, grass catcher with fill indicator, and a switch box. Familiarize yourself with these components before assembly.

Assembly

- Start unit: Attach the start unit to the top part of the handle using the included screws.
- Handle: Slide the power cord hook onto the top handle, connect the top and bottom handle parts, and secure the handle to the mower body.
- Grass catcher: Assemble the top and bottom parts of the grass catcher. Attach the handle to the top part.
- Wheels: Place wheels on the axles, secure with washers and cotter pins, and attach the wheel covers.
Operation

- Mowing height: The mower has 3 height positions: 30 mm, 50 mm, and 70 mm. Adjust the height independently on the front and rear axles. Ensure all 4 wheels are set to the same height.
- Power connection: Use a power source of 230-240 V, 50 Hz. The power cord should not exceed 30 m.
- Starting: Press and hold the safety button, then pull the starting lever towards the handle.
- Stopping: Release the starting lever.
- Mowing: Only mow dry grass. Always mow in a direction away from the power cord to prevent severing it.
Maintenance

- Blade replacement: Always disconnect the power cord before inspecting or replacing the blade. Use protective gloves. Loosen the two bolts holding the blade (6 mm Allen key), remove the blade, and replace it with a new one. Ensure the new blade is installed in the correct direction.
- General: Regularly check that all nuts, pins, and bolts are tightened. Inspect the grass catcher for wear.
Safety
Never operate the machine if the power cord is damaged. Do not mow in the rain. Wear hearing and eye protection. If the machine vibrates excessively, stop immediately and inspect for damage.
