First-Time Activation
Your safe is ready for activation. To prevent it from locking before you are ready, a solenoid deactivation safety device has been installed.

- Batteries: Remove the four (4) AA batteries from the packaging.
- Locking Pin: Locate the small plastic locking pin on the inside of the safe door, pull it out completely, and dispose of it.
- Install Batteries: Slide the battery compartment cover forward (located inside the safe at the top of the door). Install the four (4) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. The keypad will beep and lights will flash to confirm installation.
Testing the Locking System
With the door open, test the electronic lock:
- Locate the locking push button on the inside of the safe door.
- Push the button in and turn the handle to the left. This extends the live door bolts.
- Test the factory passcode (159) to ensure the lock functions correctly.
- Important: Do not close the safe door with the live bolts in the locked position, as this can damage the safe.
Programming a Personal Passcode
For security, change the factory code (159) immediately:

- Open the protective cover on the keypad.
- With the door open, press the small reset button located on the inside top edge of the door.
- Enter your new 3-8 digit passcode followed by the # key.
- Repeat the sequence to confirm. The green light will flash to indicate success.
Emergency Override Key & Battery Replacement
If batteries fail, use the emergency override key:

- Open the protective keypad cover.
- Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws securing the emergency override key lock cover.
- Insert the key, turn clockwise, and turn the handle to open the safe.
- Replace the four (4) AA batteries inside the door compartment.
