Before operating your air conditioner, ensure it has been standing upright for at least one hour. Verify that the electrical outlet is properly grounded and matches the requirements on the unit's serial plate. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs. The unit features a current detection device on the power cord; always ensure the RESET button is engaged for proper operation.

Safety Instructions

Flammable Refrigerant Warning: This unit uses flammable refrigerant (R32). Do not use means to accelerate the defrosting process or clean the unit other than those recommended by the manufacturer. Keep ventilation openings clear of obstruction.

• Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors near the appliance.
• Do not block the intake grille, discharge area, or outlet ports.
• Do not operate the unit with wet hands.
• Always unplug the unit before cleaning to prevent shock or fire hazards.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an authorized servicer; it cannot be repaired.

Air Conditioner Features

The unit can be controlled via the touch pad or the remote control. Key features include:

• Modes: Cool, Auto, Dry, and Fan Only.
• Eco Feature: Automatically cycles the fan and compressor for energy efficiency.
• Sleep Feature: Adjusts temperature settings automatically for comfort during sleep.
• Timer: Allows for delayed start or stop (up to 24 hours).
• Remote Sensing: (On some models) Allows the remote control to act as the thermostat sensor.

Operating Instructions

Turning the Unit On/Off: Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel or remote.

Adjusting Temperature: Use the Up (^) or Down (v) buttons to set the desired temperature between 62°F (17°C) and 86°F (30°C).

Adjusting Fan Speed: Press the Fan Speed button to cycle through Auto, Low, Medium, and High settings. Note that in Auto or Dry mode, fan speed may be restricted.

Remote Sensing Feature: To activate, point the remote at the unit and press the Remote Sensing button. The unit will use the remote's location to determine the temperature. If the unit does not receive a signal for 7 minutes, it will revert to the unit's internal sensor.

Care and Cleaning

Air Filter: Check the filter at least once a month. If dirty, wash it with warm water and mild dishwashing detergent, or vacuum it clean. Ensure the filter is completely dry before reinstalling. The "Filter Reset" light will illuminate after 250 hours of operation as a reminder.

Cabinet Cleaning: Dust the cabinet with an oil-free cloth or wash with a cloth dampened in warm water and mild detergent. Never use harsh cleaners, wax, or polish on the front.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, check the following before calling for service:

• Unit will not operate: Check if the plug is disconnected, the current device is tripped (press RESET), or a house fuse/breaker has blown.
• Air not cold enough: Ensure the room temperature is above 60°F (16°C). Check if the temperature sensor is touching the cold coil and straighten it if necessary.
• Water dripping inside: The unit may be improperly installed. Tilt it slightly to the outside to allow for proper drainage.
• Remote Sensing deactivating: Ensure the remote is within 20 feet and a 120° radius of the unit, and that the signal is not obstructed.
